PORTRAITS / SENIORS

I guess I'll start by explaining my photographic style. I believe that the human brain is naturally attracted to color and brightness. That said, you should expect a colorful saturated image for the final product. This will typically be achieved with the use of off-camera strobes and modifiers, though natural light may be used as well. You can also expect the subject to be the lightest object in the photo, though this can change for creative purposes. Being properly exposed makes it easy to convert most of the images to B&W. That " light & airy " look is very popular now and I think there are times it's perfect. I picture a barefoot girl in a sundress running across a field of wildflowers 😂. I have the ability to capture this ( in fact, have a set of black mist filters for an extra " glow" to the shot ), but if that's the look you're going for in all your shots, I'm probably not the right choice for you. There are a ton of photographers out there that have adopted that look. If you need some recommendations for who I think do it well, send me a message.

Equipment I'll use is a medium format camera. Not only does this give you a whopping 102 mp, the larger sensor gives your photos a certain high-end look that other cameras can't. My Nikons are 47mp, so all are high resolution, and will probable use those if you're doing a lot of action.

Okay, if you've made it this far, let's get to the price. This is hard for me because I don't like feeling rushed by a time constraint or have you disappointed you didn't get an outfit you love. So, my constraint is being "reasonable".....this will include a few different outfits in a couple nearby locations. The most important thing for me is that you feel like you got enough. If you want to go crazy with outfits and locations, price will go up accordingly and agreed upon before we start. The basic package stated above will be $200 and be about an hour or so ( I'm not much of a clockwatcher ). You can also for a quickie session with a few photos in one outfit if you want something simple. They'll run $75-100. If this sounds like something you're interested in, would love to have you reach out to me.

SPORTRAITS

This is definitely the biggest, longest, complex shoots I offer. There is no time limit, since there is often dead space where you are resting and I am changing the light set up. This will include multiple strobes, colored gels, stadium lights, smoke, fire, props and whatever else we can think of. I love to have the athlete bring a part of their life to the shoot. May be cowboy hats, flags, bibles, instruments or anything that you do besides sports. This is the only sessions I charge a sitting fee for, since there is so much set up time. Sitting fee is $100 and will include to images of your choice. Each additional image is $20. This can get pretty expensive quickly, so, if you buy a bunch, I'll through in a discount. Always willing to work with your budget. Again, the most important thing is you have all the images you love. Look forward to hearing from you.

SPORTING EVENTS

Probably the most economical way to get these is to have the parents chip in a buy all the game photos. This is $60 a game and usually results in 100+ full size images. There may be a small fee for longer travel times to help with gas.

  • If you just want a specific athlete covered, it's $20 to come to event, then $2 for social media sized images and $10 for full sized images.
